About Us

John and Ralph Cook, founders of Cook Bros. Homes, grew up in central Illinois. Hard work, ingenuity, and pride in a job well done were the foundations of their upbringing. Both realized early in life that the process of creating something from nothing was both rewarding and fun. After college, John and Ralph moved to Tennessee with a shared vision to start a business together centered around construction and real estate. They began rehabbing and remodeling properties. Honing both their skills with dozens of projects over the next three years, they developed strong subcontractor and vendor relationships. After obtaining residential, commercial, and industrial licenses, Cook Bros. Homes, LLC opened its doors in August 2004.
